About the Wisconsin Telecommunications Association
The WTA was formed in 1974 with 37 original members to promote the exchange of information among IT and telecom professionals.
The WTA sponsors the following activities:
- Monthly Meetings - A guest speaker is featured and topics cover industry trends, new products, management skills and career planning. When a meal is served, it is included in your cost for membership, non members pay a fee.
- 1st Quarter - Annual Open House - A January event featuring an industry speaker.
- 2nd Quarter - Annual Education Conference - Attend an all-day seminar and trade show about current technology and telecommunication topics.
- 3rd Quarter - Annual Golf Classic - Enjoy a day of networking and golf, followed by dinner and raffle prizes.
- 4th Quarter - Annual Business Meeting - New board members are elected in October to serve for the following calendar year.
